Facial Rejuvenation

Thanks to modern facial skin care technology, here at The Guild Practice the effects of aging on the skin caused by heredity, lifestyle, and environmental factors no longer have to be accepted as permanent. Today there are many facial rejuvenation options for individuals who would like to reduce wrinkles and fine lines or enhance their facial skin care regimen to achieve a look that’s healthy and natural.

Facial rejuvenation refers to the combination of cosmetic procedures used to restore your facial features to their previous youthful appearance. Non surgical treatments including, fillers, neurotoxins (botulinum toxins) and fat injections can be used for volume enhancement and wrinkle and fold eradication.

The Guild Practice offers advanced and innovative non surgical cosmetic procedures available today for facial rejuvenation!

Though many will not admit to judging people by their appearance, the reality is that first impressions do count. Judgements are made, not only on your physical appearance, but also on the confidence you project. An improvement in your appearance with non surgical facial rejuvenation treatments can dramatically improve your self-confidence and, subsequently, lead to an enhanced sense of wellbeing, more fulfilling relationships, and even better career opportunities. At The Guild Practice we fully understand the important relationship between your aesthetic appearance and your well-being. Even in today’s highly competitive career settings, looking younger and healthier can be as important as possessing excellent skills.

How do Neurotoxins like BOTOX(r) and other botulinum toxins work?

Your muscles contract whenever your frown, smile or make any other facial expression. As a consequence of this constant and repetitive muscle movement, the skin becomes less elastic and draws together. This causes wrinkles and frown lines. When Neurotoxins, such as BOTOX(r) are injected into these muscles, it blocks impulses from activating the muscles, causing the skin above to appear more relaxed – smoother. In certain cases and over time, these wrinkles can disappear with repeated treatments.

These treatments are fast and virtually painless. The procedure only takes about 10 to 15 minutes and needs no recovery time, because there are
minimal side effects. Most patients usually see an improvement within five to seven days, although results will vary. The effects of the treatment last approximately three to five months. Individual results may vary. Additionally, with repeated treatment, you can see longer-lasting effects.

When to Consider Facial Rejuvenation?

  • If you want to reverse the signs of aging and restore a more youthful appearance.
  • If there are crow’s feet at the corners of your eyes, fine lines and folds around your mouth, and frown lines and furrows in your forehead.
  • If there is drooping skin and wrinkling changes in your upper eyelids, upper and lower eyelid bags, and dark circles under your eye.

Am I a good candidate for Facial Rejuvenation?

The following are some common reasons why you may want to consider facial rejuvenation:

  • You want to look younger and more refreshed.
  • You seek the most natural result.
  • You have a number of aging signs that you wish to treat without resorting to a surgical procedure.

If you are in good general health, have a positive attitude and realistic expectations, you are most likely a good candidate for this procedure.
